The Theater Department of Community High School presented two performances of Don Zolidis’ comedy, “The Tell-Tale Farce,” and had their audience rolling with laughter!
Set in the Dowling’s drawing-room in the 1840s, the widow Dowling has hired Edgar Allan Poe to write a poem to commemorate her long-faded beauty. When her niece, Sarah Dowling’s suitor Richard arrives dressed as Poe to take advantage of the commission all mayhem ensues. It was an evening of slamming doors, steamy meetings in closets, and frustrated lovers.
