The Theater Department of Community High School presented Karel Capek’s socio-political satire “The Insect Play,” in the June M. McBroom Theater for two nights.
Written in the years following the horrors of World War I and the rise of Fascism throughout Europe, the Czech playwright tackles delicate issues of love, family and war as a man known as a Traveler experiences the human condition through the chaotic world of insects.
