This senior event allowed students to engage in a mock admissions panel, and also gave them a new perspective by reviewing applications from seniors as if they themselves were the ones making the admissions decisions. Additionally they read and evaluated essays, transcripts, and letters of recommendation.

This retreat also provided a clear and dedicated time and space away from family, work, and the classroom to tackle the essay writing process in an environment of camaraderie.

Students also had the pleasure of visiting Virginia Commonwealth University, Christopher Newport University, and Randolph Macon College.
