Zora D On Recycling Issues Both Locally and Globaly
As part of their Environmental Studies class, Zora D was inspired to research questions and challenges surrounding recycling practices “after observing the chaotic contents of recycling bins in our building and a correspondingly chaotic understanding in myself and my peers of how recycling actually works.”
Zora’s end goal after learning about how our waste is handled on a global level was “to improve the sustainability of CHS.” By applying the research and polling fellow students, Zora’s proposed three areas of possible improvement with concrete plans for reduction, reuse, management, and education.
Below are the results of the polls Zora used in the conclusion of the paper. To read Zora’s full paper, click here.
