U.S. History Class Researches in the Virginia Room Downtown
Students in the U.S. History class spent three weeks delving into archival research about local history at the Virginia Room special collections library in downtown Roanoke. Each student chose a local topic of interest to them and used original documents, newspapers, sanborn maps, archival flat files, genealogical resources, and more to trace its history in the Valley over the last 150 years.
