Student QuarantZine Publication Receives Recognition
The work of the creative QuarantZine team has received outside recognition! The first two issues of their publication were reviewed in the new issue of Asymmetrical Anti-Media, a quarterly zine that reviews dozens of other zines. Olchar has even been contacted with requests for copies. Well done!
Lucy’s Artwork was Featured by #ArtinRoanoke
Rising Senior Lucy B. gave herself an ink challenge during quarantine and it was featured by #ArtinRoanoke. Her work here is based on a series of words in Scots-Gaelic (which she’s been studying for the past year or so).
The Seniors Receive a Special Delivery…
Our amazing college team made special deliveries today. The seniors each received their personally decorated graduation cap, a photo lawn sign, and a bag of treats. It was a heart-felt gesture and appreciated by all!

Pi Day Recitation Contest
Our Pi day recitation contest brought out very impressive contestants. Our winner, Lucy B, successfully recited Pi to 74 correct digits!!!
Pi Day Race
Even though it rained, Mellisa and Lucy B. still ran the Pi Day race Mellisa’s PE students had prepared – 3.14 miles! Meanwhile, other students stirred up some dry ice ice cream to enjoy.
