Sophomore Yutika Experiences an Exchange On the Other Coast

Sophomore Yutika P. took the opportunity to explore a different environment at an urban private school within walking distance from the family home where she was staying in Seattle, WA. She found the schools to be very similar in terms of how classes are conducted, but at The Bush School there were many more students and a cafeteria! She sampled multiple classes such as environmental science, Latinx voices, Seattle statics and social justice, Spanish 5, and more. Yutika said the most important part of her experience with attending a different school in a city she had never been to before was relearning how to navigate through a situation surrounded by strangers.
