It’s that time again! Community High School is opening its doors for another windfall of locally sourced classes, workshops, lectures, discussions, and tours. The Lycée tradition has been a fun, inspiring way to welcome outside ideas, untold histories, marginalized forms, and strange skills for a one day platform of collaboration and exposure. Lycée classes range from one off lectures to walking tours, to cooking demos, to alternative creative workshops. Last year we saw games of social deduction, local bus tours, lectures on Japanese animation, and much more!
This year we will be offering two Lycée days – November 15 and February 14 – with classes presented by Community High School students taught alongside those from the local community. In this way, both visiting teachers and students’ turned teachers can intermingle and cross-pollinate their ideas.
